Alberto was born in Havana, Cuba in 1965. He had a military career which included stints in the Border Corps, the Coast Guard, Counterespionage and the Drug Police. He earned a Law Degree from University of Havana and 1993, and after being discharged he was worked as a legal advisor, a corporate intelligence consultant, a trade executive, a travel agent and a social worker. He lives in Canada since 2009. He is a frequent contributor to Boletín Línea Uno, a digital magazine for Toronto’s Hispanic Development Council. In 2021 he published the novel Los rehenes del poder with Ediciones Oblicuas. He also self-published Los guerreros de Saturno with Amazon’s KDP platform.
