Gabriela Cantú

Gabriela Cantu

Gabriela was born in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1972. She is a poet and visual artist. She won the 2012 National Ramón López Velarde Poetry Award and the 2020 Arts Award issued by the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. She has a M.S. in Spanish and Literature. She has been a frequent contributor to print, radio and TV outlets and a professor and cultural promoter at several public and private schools and organizations. Her literary work has been published in México, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, the United Kingdom and the United States and has been translated into several languages. Her published titles include:
