Javier Sunderland
Was born in Mexico City in 1965. He’s a writer and lawyer. His 2009 novel, Arena, earned the Sergio Galindo Latin American Award for First Novel granted by Universidad Veracruzana. His second novel, El aroma de la luna, was a runner up for the Sanborns-Planeta New Writers Award. He has published along with the Monte Tauro Workshop, four short story collections as part of Las revoltosas series. In 2020 he published El llano de las langostas, his fourth novel. He is currently working on this fifth novel.
