Lis Claverie

Lis Claverie was born in May 1965 in San Luis, Argentina. She is a lawyer and a specialist in university teaching, and for the past fifteen years, she has dedicated herself exclusively to writing. She holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Salamanca (2022).
She is the author of “Un alma para dos,” a book of short stories and narratives (El Tabaquillo Publishing, 2014; Yammal Contenidos, 2023); “Alberto Álvarez,” a story with mentions published in the anthology “52 Motivos para no morir” (2014); “Los lobos,” a poem with mentions published in the anthology “Tellus, Febo, Venus” (2014); “Calar bayonetas,” an award-winning story in “Todos los escritores, todos” (Government of the Province of San Luis, 2015), published in the anthology “Letras de San Luis” (San Luis Libro Publishing, 2023); “A tres voces y en tacones,” a co-authored book of poems (El Tabaquillo Publishing, 2018); “Gajos del oficio,” a story with an Honorable Mention in the 62nd International Poetry and Narrative Contest “Ensamblando Palabras 2018,” published in the anthology “Ensamblando Palabras” (2018); “Punto de fuga,” a novel (El Tabaquillo Publishing, 2018; Yammal Contenidos, 2023); “El ascenso,” a narrative that won second prize in the 6th edition of the “Grandes autores – Relatos Cortos” contest by the Supervielle Group (2020); “El que no corre, vuela,” a book of short stories and narratives (Color Ciego Ediciones, 2021; Yammal Contenidos, 2023); and “Ya llegarán las rosas,” a book of short stories and narratives (Yammal Contenidos, 2023).
