Víctor Astudillo

Víctor Astudillo García was born in 1988, in Cali, Colombia. He is an economist by trade and holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation. Although his education did not initially focus on technology, his curiosity and desire to learn led him to explore the fascinating world of AI.

Inspired by his 90-year-old grandmother, Victor set himself the challenge of explaining Artificial Intelligence in such a simple way that even she could understand it. His motivation was clear: if he could make his grandmother understand AI, anyone could do so without complications. This idea became the spark that led to his first book: “Artificial Intelligence Explained to My Grandma,” aimed at bridging the knowledge gap and helping everyone stay up-to-date in the AI era.

In his professional experience, Victor has held several jobs, most recently as Operations Manager for a large technology multinational, specifically in software development. Additionally, he is an entrepreneur and has used AI to launch multiple ventures in different fields, thus demonstrating how AI can achieve previously unimaginable things.

Outside of his professional life, Victor is a husband and father of two young daughters, with another baby on the way, who inspire him to build a better future.
