Cesia Hirshbein
Novelist, essayist, researcher and professor. Born in Germany, she holds both the Venezuelan and Polish citizenships. She currently resides in Mexico. After many years as a tenured professor at Venezuela´s Central University, she moved to Mexico and in the 21st Century is solely dedicated to writing fiction. Some of her titles include: Sombras sobre la luna de van Gogh (short stories, 2014), A media voz (short stories, 2016), Hombres que eran bosques y otros relatos (short stories, 2020), and El hilo de Miriam (novel, 2021).
