Born in Mexico in 1960, Fernando is an avid reader and writer. He has earned a J.D. as well as a Ph.D. in Creative Writing. In 2018 he published the dystopic novel Candidez, first in a five-part series, and toured book fairs in Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Spain and Colombia with it. The book has already been translated into English. In 2020, he published the second part of the series, “Y seguiremos siendo nosotros”, which has been presented in festivals, bookstores and bookclubs in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Bogota and Guatemala. In 2021, the published the third part, “Resistiremos. La amenaza hipermoderna”, which toured international book fairs in Mexico City, Guadalajara, La Habana and Madrid.
