Gladys Ledesma was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. She is a graduate from Universidad de la Republica with a degree as a Notary. She exercises her trade with the same passion she feels fro writing. She has been a member of the creative workshops led by such writers as Alberto Gallo and Dina Díaz. Several of her short stories have been included in a number of anthologies.
