Jaime Garba

Jaime is a writer and editor. Born in 1984, he ran Michoacán State’s Regional Arts Center 2008-2013 and has also worked for Morelia’s International Film Festival. His articles has been published by Playboy Mexico, Gatopardo, Sin Embargo, Letras Libres and Buensalvaje, among others. He has taught creative writing at several organizations. He is the author of the ¿Qué tanto es morir? Novel, and the short story collection Cuando las estatuas se cansan published in Venezuela, and has been the editor of a collection of pandemic chronicles published also in Venezuela. He was a finalist for the 2019 National Gonzo Journalism Award and won the 2020 Guadalajara International Book Fair Short Fiction Award.
