Raúl Verduzco

Raúl Verduzco was born in Monterrey in 1979 and has been writing for over 20 years. He studied Hispanic Literature at Tecnologico de Monterrey and has earned an MA and a Ph.D., in Hispanic and Portuguese Literature from Yale University. He has been a lecturer at colleges and countless literary events, and has participated in dozens of literary workshops, besides working as consultant for many drama, music and arts events. For the past decade he has been a professor of Literature and Literary Theory at Tecnológico de Monterrey where he also codirects Humanística, the college’s review of Literature. Since December, 2021 he coordinates the Literary Café at Monterrey’s MARCO Museum.
