Esteban Torres

Born in Calahorra, Spain, he has lived in Madrid and currently in Tenerife. He is a professor of Psychology of Human Development at La Laguna University, where he specialises in the impact of audiovisual media on children and teenagers. He has published papers on childhood and adolescent consumerism, the administration of media in a family setting, violence in media, childhood advertising, and digital literacy, among others. He teaches his students to communicate through scripts and audiovisual productions with a social purpose. He is the author of several scripts and director of numerous audiovisual productions created for public institutions. His first novel, Andreea Constanting, talks about the plight of sexual slavery. In 2023 he published his second novel, Treinta días con María, centered on a Palestinian activists and the loyalties that rule our lives
