Gabriela is an international affairs specialist with a B.A. from El Colegio de México and an MBA from Harvard. A citizen of the world, she has lived, worked and studied in France, the UK, the United States, Cyprus and Mexico. She has written short stories, essays and a YA novel that are yet to be published, and has published articles por Milenio’s Laberinto literary magazine, Nexos and the Revista de Literatura Mexicana Contemporánea. Her first novel, Esa otra orfandad, was published by Cal y Arena in 2016. Her second novel, Siempre un destierro, was published by Océano in 2019 and was translated into French as Déracinements and published in 2023 by La Fontaine de Siloé.
